Breakfast was a defrosted croissant with drinks from a vending machine. I don't understand the positive reviews. Perhaps management has changed? The place seemed neglected and in disrepair, and I wouldn't recommend it. My family and I stayed one night, on July 31st. The exterior looked dilapidated, and the parking area out front had no shade and space for only four or five cars. The inside stairs were filthy, with light-colored carpet, and there was a nauseating smell of wet diapers. The room was clean enough, though my husband found an ant in the bed. The bathroom was tiny, like one in a camper van, and the shower barely fit a person. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Opening the window only revealed rooftops, with no garden, and there was a horse manure smell.

A lovely, elegant property. The owners, Mimmo and Assunta, really stand out for their kindness and willingness to help. Ask for something and they'll always try to accommodate you. It's near the temples and Paestum's evening events, and the sea is not far by car.

We ended up raising our New Year's toast late because of the staff. Dinner arrived late and cold, there was no heat in the rooms, and the water was cold too. A New Year's Eve to forget, with no professionalism and everything feeling disgusting. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Bye, and happy 2017.

The big garden and pool made for a peaceful place to unwind. Our room was spacious, with period furnishings, and the hospitality was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is just a few steps from the Temples.

A lovely old hotel, and the rooms feel welcoming. There is just one drawback: you can notice an old smell.
