The airport shuttle was one of the real conveniences here, just €8 and it made getting to and from the airport easy and stress-free. I had an excellent stay at Seccy Hotel Boutique Art & Museum in Fiumicino, where the family-run feel was there from the moment I arrived. It felt like being welcomed by family, and the team clearly takes pride in the property and the guest experience. The hotel was meticulously clean, with attention to detail all over. Enrique looked after breakfast in the dining room each morning, which was beautifully presented, and he was professional and genuinely warm. At reception, Naomi, Alfredo, and Jacob each made the experience personal and were always ready to help. Housekeeping kept everything to a high standard too. The rooms are simple but very comfortable, with large windows for lots of daylight, good beds, and excellent climate control. Seccy Hotel is a real gem. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Fiumicino.

A nice, quiet spot for a layover, and the town itself is quaint. The hotel was clean and the service was good. Breakfast was enough to fill you up, with okay coffee, hard-boiled eggs, some cheese, and one kind of cold cut for protein. From the airport, the shuttle costs €8 and a taxi is €24. Not bad at all.

For a work trip to Rome, I stayed near the airport to avoid the hassle of the city. The hotel was unusual, with big, clean, quiet rooms, and the staff were some of the most accommodating I’ve come across. Sitting in the morning sun, we even had a couple of cats outside for company. I hadn’t expected the location to have so many restaurants along the river, with really fresh fish. I’ll stay here again when I’m back for business.

I wish I’d had more time at this lovely hotel. I stayed overnight before an early flight and hadn’t expected to find such a nice place so conveniently close to the airport, Fiumicino city centre, and the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
