10/10
There was a modest breakfast included, which was a nice surprise. I was glad to have hot coffee and water in the morning. The room also had a little fridge, handy for bottles and other small things. The location was convenient, with a good pizzeria nearby and a tram stop about a 12-minute walk away. From there it’s a 15-minute ride straight to central Florence. We also had a big balcony, clean room, secure private parking, and very nice staff. The downside is how thin the walls are. You can hear nearly everything, including airport noise, and one night we heard a couple having a whole conversation. It’s not a luxury hotel, of course, but for the price it’s a very good place to sleep.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were lovely. They put a lot of heart and effort into helping guests. Miss Rozeta and Mr Nufail were especially sweet and friendly at reception.

The price is reasonable, but the service was very poor. During an extreme emergency, the staff were unfriendly, mocking and judgemental. The shower in my room was broken, as was the shutter. Breakfast coffee from the automatic machines was bitter. The dining area was in poor shape, with stains on the ceiling, and in winter staff opened the door to bring things into the hotel while guests were eating.

The room was clean and tidy, and I was quite happy with it. The location is also acceptable if you want to be near the airport. But it was unbearably noisy. People kept knocking on our door until 3 AM, and we couldn’t sleep at all. I can’t give the hotel a positive rating because of that.

8/10
The staff were so kind that they made up for the room. They recommended a nice restaurant within walking distance, made us cappuccinos and warmed croissants at 5 AM before breakfast was served, then called our taxi. The airport was less than a five-minute drive away, and the taxi cost 10 euros. The room and bathroom were very small and dim, and the A/C barely worked. If you’re after the basics, it’s fine.
