Florence Decamerone B&B

The room was clean and comfortable, and the internet connection was good. The neighborhood is quiet and away from central Florence, but a few nearby bus lines make it convenient to get there.

Christina is so welcoming and made me feel at home. The rooms are downstairs in the basement, though that didn't make them unpleasant or uncomfortable. Both the room and bathroom were clean and renovated. Breakfast was really good and cost 5 euros. The hotel is in a quiet area outside the city centre. You can walk there in about 30 minutes, or take buses 1, 1a, or 1b in under 10 minutes. They give you a map and helpful advice at the hotel. Highly recommend 👌🏽

I was frustrated to arrive and learn that my room was much farther away than the advertised location where I thought I'd booked. When I brought it up, the older man who greeted me, who I believe is the owner, brushed me off: "I'm sorry that you made a mistake. People don't read the information properly." 🤡 The website footer mentions only one location, and there's no clear notice that there are several. Be aware that "Decamarone" refers to a completely different location. I'd like the owner to clarify exactly where this information is that I supposedly failed to read. It was a very disappointing experience.

We spent six nights here and had a great time. The rooms are large and lovely, everything is clean, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was very good, especially on the beautiful terrace.
