The river nearby makes for a peaceful atmosphere, with the sound of the flowing water and ducks living there. The hotel is well placed for visiting Florence and nearby towns like Pisa, without being right in the city's bustle. I stayed in May and found it a beautiful place, with clean, welcoming rooms and a very kind owner. My only reason for not giving five stars is that there's no mini-fridge in the room to keep even some water cold.

The owner and staff were very kind and helpful. It's a simple hotel, but spotlessly clean, and the center of Florence is a 10-minute drive away. A good fit for people who aren't too demanding and don't want to spend a fortune. I had a very positive experience.

The interiors are well kept, maybe recently renovated, and everything was perfectly clean and tidy. It's a simple, peaceful place with friendly staff and convenient parking. A bus links the hotel to the center, making it a handy base for trips to Florence. We'll definitely be back. :)
