Residenza depoca La Scaletta

Breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight, especially with the view over Boboli gardens. The room was roomy and clean, and the hotel is right in the center. Everyone on staff was really friendly. We did hear people passing outside at night sometimes, though.

We felt looked after the whole time, and the staff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. They kept our room clean each day, too. The location is great for getting around on foot, with plenty of shops on the street and all the main sights nearby. My fiance and I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it for a Florence trip.

Make time for a drink at sunset on the very top rooftop. The view is incredible, and there’s lots to discover in the neighborhood. We slept well in a comfortable bed, and our room was clean and quiet. The staff were helpful with everything. I’d happily come back.

The gentleman on the night shift yesterday was polite, professional, and very helpful, which made things much better. Unfortunately, when I visited today, 11 February 2026, the service was a real letdown compared with my earlier experience. The staff member on duty came across as unprofessional, and the service overall was poor.
