The service was wonderful, and we’d highly recommend the place. The grounds are beautiful, with a glorious view of the city, and public transport into Florence from Settignano was very good. It’s a 15-minute walk from the main gate. There are two ways to reach the gate, though, and we took the difficult one. Come through Settignano itself or you might scrape your car, as we did. We stayed in a beautifully put-together house with our two children, on our sixth trip to Italy, which always exceeds expectations. My wife came away with ideas for our own home, and the children loved their room. It was hard to keep them out of the pool!

The setting in Settignano made our week feel like a real escape from Europe’s bustle. We stayed in a carefully arranged rustic villa overlooking Florence, with loads of room to relax, read, cook, eat, and play. The furnished rooms and outdoor spaces felt homely, and the well-equipped kitchen got us cooking with local ingredients and sharing meals with our two children. It had a family feel. We made friends with other holidaymakers who seemed on the same wavelength, and always felt welcome, comfortable, and safe at Settignano Tuscany Homes. Those are lovely memories we’ll hold onto for years.

Maria was a lovely, helpful host, and our charming room had beautiful details. The property is gorgeous, tucked among olive trees, with a great pool for unwinding after a hot day in Florence. We were there for two nights, about a 12-minute drive from the city center. It worked perfectly for our trip, and I highly recommend it.

The grounds are gorgeous and spacious, and the little village of Settignagno is very cute. Getting into the center of Firenze takes about 20 minutes by bus or taxi. The house has seven units, which is unusual, with separate bedrooms and bathrooms spread around the property, so everyone gets some privacy. We celebrated my father's birthday here and had a really pleasant stay. Maria and Claudia, the owners, kindly handled our requests and helped with the groceries. They also found us a chef, and Lorenzo made us great lunches and dinners. We’re thinking about coming back. Grazie Claudia, Maria e Lorenzo. A presto
