The breakfast spread was the most beautiful we've seen in all our travels, and dinner at the restaurant was simple, elegant, and beautifully done. The tiramisu was one of the best I had on the trip. Beforehand, we loved sitting outside with espresso and hot chocolate and taking in the atmosphere. Simona, one of the servers, looked after us wonderfully and even taught us some Italian. We stayed at Villa Olmi on our honeymoon, and it was a perfect introduction to Italy. The property is breathtaking, with views of the rolling Tuscan hills, and the hotel and grounds feel so peaceful. It's calm, welcoming, and quietly luxurious. The staff were lovely and responsive. A truly special place to stay and dine. We'll be back and recommend it to everyone looking for a beautiful Tuscan experience within a short drive of Forence!

The room was unbearably hot and stuffy. When we asked reception to change the temperature, they just told us to open a window. That let in lots of mosquitoes and flies, and we couldn't sleep. With the window open, noise from the breakfast area right outside also started early in the morning. Room service was poor as well. The room phone didn't work, so we couldn't call to ask for anything. It was a very unpleasant stay, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel.

We stayed as part of our post cruise trip in the main section, which made it convenient for the desk and restaurant. Our room was good and well kept, and the service was excellent. The rooms in the other section, reached through a tunnel, look incredible. I'd probably choose that part if I came back.

The gardens were beautiful, the restaurant spacious, and the staff incredibly friendly. We especially appreciated the kind Korean-speaking staff member. The hotel takes a short bus ride from downtown Florence, but it's well worth going there. Our honeymoon stay was absolute perfection and made our first trip to Italy wonderful. I'd love to return with my family for a longer visit. Thanks!

It's a comfortable, high quality hotel. The only drawback is that it's a little out of town, so you'll need a taxi. They do have a shuttle that takes you to the edge of town, from where you can walk.
