I stayed just one night and found the place really charming. Check-in was simple, and the hostess had sent me all the details well ahead of time. After an accident, I couldn't manage solid or hot food, but she still invited me down for breakfast and offered yoghurt and juice. I also tried her homemade cake. It was a bit of an experiment, but it worked in the end and tasted so good, which I was grateful for. We had a short chat in Italian too; I'm not fluent, so I appreciated the chance to practise. I'd read some negative reviews, but I had no problem with my room.

Anna Rita, the owner, was a very friendly and helpful landlady, and we had a great week here. The rooms were clean, and breakfast in the old vaulted room was great. It's a good, quiet spot in the centre of this beautiful town.
