The property is right in the center, and the hosts really looked after us. They pointed out the main attractions nearby and suggested some lovely places for dinner and a nice evening. We'll be back soon!

I left because the dust was everywhere and my arms itched so badly I had to cover them with cortisone cream. The sofa bed was filthy and stained, with no bedspread. When I went to shower, the shower door nearly fell on me. There was old urine under the toilet seat, and the smell says it all. Hair was in the shower, the ceiling had mold, and the parquet was loose and peeling. There was no kitchen or terrace, at least not in the property on Viale XXIV Maggio where we were put. He charged me €50 for the double room, though the price was €45, and that wasn't even the room in question. The room he used and the other one didn't look cleaned or sanitized at all. I'm disgusted.

I booked a room, then found out at payment time that they only took cash. I can only guess that was to avoid taxes. I went to withdraw money, but my card wouldn't work, so I called relatives to send some to another card. Ten minutes later the owner called, angry and upset, and rudely told me he'd cancel the reservation if I didn't have cash within another ten minutes. While I was waiting in the waiting room for the transfer, he made me leave. I went straight to another hotel where I could pay by card. The owner was grumpy and rude, and has no POS terminal. He's worse than animals, backward and obnoxious. Don't go unless you want to be treated badly, like a tramp.

It's affordable and very central, which is nice. But there was bird mess outside the window, and not much attention to the window area. No minibar, no glasses, and no personal hygiene soap either. These things need fixing. Still, it's a nice and convenient place otherwise.
