Il Giardino In Citta

We paid €50 for a double room and stayed one night as a couple, since we had work near the Foggia Courthouse. The property is very close by and has free parking in a courtyard behind an automatic gate. Our host greeted us warmly and showed us to Magnolia, a room in an apartment on the second floor. We seemed to be the only guests. Even with it at 38°C yesterday, we could turn off the air conditioning at 2:00 a.m. and open the window without hearing any noise. The windows are new and block sound completely when shut. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was new and comfortable, though it has no window. Breakfast matched the €25 per person per night rate, so there’s no reason to complain about the quality of the ingredients. There’s a huge fridge, a microwave, and a coffee machine. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be the cleaning details. I might not have spotted it myself, but a woman’s eye could notice, perhaps the cleaners are men. I don’t think the bathroom towel warmer had ever been cleaned, and the shower looked as the previous guests had left it. For one night, though, the location, quiet, and price were all we could ask for. Special thanks for letting me leave my car inside after check-out. If we come back to Foggia, we’ll stay here again.

We found this charming B&B while visiting a relative and were glad we did. It’s close to the city center, and our double room had a crib, just right for two adults and our four-year-old son. Having an en-suite bathroom was a nice bonus. There are three rooms, with a shared kitchen available if guests need anything, and the common breakfast room had croissants, juice, coffee, biscuits, toast, milk, and more. Mr. Fabrizio handled all our needs with patience and great courtesy. There may be things some guests would want improved, but that’s subjective and didn’t affect our stay at all. We’d happily use the B&B again if we return to Foggia. Thank you!

I didn’t get around to leaving a review on Booking.com, but this B&B really deserves a strong recommendation. Fabrizio, the owner, was extremely kind and available whenever we needed anything. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the location is excellent, and having a coffee machine for guests was a lovely extra. I’ll certainly come back, and I’ve already suggested it to my relatives in Foggia for visitors from out of town. Thanks again for everything.

The location is excellent, everything is well organized, and the owner is helpful and kind. I recommend it.
