The pasta-making kept everyone involved, and Marta was already cooking our pasta with her own recipes while we worked. Everything tasted delicious, with ingredients sourced locally, and nothing felt rushed or overly touristy. Earlier, Mauro had walked us through the vineyards and explained the wine, then let us taste the small-batch wines they make. He also showed us how wheat is harvested and processed, and how that affects the flour. Two families came to this charming Tuscan Agriturismo on a frequent Italy traveler's recommendation, and Mauro and Marta made us feel very welcome. They share their love of food and wine in such an open, easy way. It was one of our favorite activities of the trip, and a great fit for all ages.

The kids were especially taken with Aisha, the lovely truffle-hunting lab, but the whole hunt was a real highlight of our Tuscany trip. We also loved the traditionally made wine, and the food was among the best we've eaten in Italy. Would absolutely recommend it, a must-do!

We learned about Tuscany's history and how the farm makes its flour and wine, as well as taking part in the cooking class. The people here were so thoughtful and caring. It made for an incredible experience, and I highly recommend it.

Lunch was one of the best meals we had on the whole trip. Mauro and his wife, Marta, cooked for us, and their friendly truffle-hunting dog Aisha was a big favorite with our kids. Mauro also explained how they grow truffles and make wine. A really distinctive outing that we'd happily recommend to anyone. Thanks, Mauro and Marta!

The estate itself was beautiful, and the food was wonderful. Mauro and Marta were so personable, and clearly know their property inside out, including its history and the science behind their work. We learned a lot and would definitely recommend a visit.
