B&B Il Cedro

Breakfast was generous, with some packaged discount products, and served in a shared room. The B&B is in a great spot, and the owner is around most of the time.

It’s a handy base for visiting Umbria’s main cities, though Foligno’s centre is far and best reached by car. The rooms are clean and decent, although we did find a few hairs on the sheets. This B&B is in a residential villa, with ground-floor rooms and a shared lounge. Breakfast needs work: it’s all commercial snacks and Eurospin jam. I think the four- and five-star ratings may be a little generous.

We only stayed one night, in room number 2, which worked well for four people. The location was quiet and just three minutes from the centre. The place was spotless and wonderfully warm, which surprised me. We were welcomed with a smile and left feeling like we were leaving home. So much courtesy and simplicity. Thanks for everything.

A really kind and helpful woman welcomed us when we arrived, and even our four-legged friends are welcome. Luce and Baby are there to greet them, and they’re so sweet. We felt at home here. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and everything was just right. Breakfast was filling and excellent too. Highly recommended for the location as well, about 20 minutes from the centre.
