Agriturismo Casone

The estate is lovely, set among vineyards and olive groves with views of the hills and Montefiascone. Inside and out, it’s all about peace and attention to detail, a farmhouse where you can properly unwind and spend several days. The owners are incredibly hospitable and the service is excellent. Beds are ultra-comfortable, the food is good quality, and the bathrooms always have hot and cold water. There are big patios for meals and time together, plus panels, photos, and poems dotted around that remember the place and the people who’ve lived there over the years. Travel times are handy too: Montefiascone is a 5-minute drive, Marta 10, Bolsena and the other nearby villages 15, Viterbo 20, and Caprarola and Lago di Vico up to 40 minutes away. A must-visit.

The hosts are truly lovely, and our expectations were exceeded during a wonderful, unforgettable holiday at this beautiful little resort. The garden feels straight out of a fairytale. The pool and the rest of the property are beautifully maintained, and our room was clean and modern. It’s a great choice for a quiet, relaxing stay near the lake. I wish I could give it more than five stars. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

We spent a fantastic 12 days here. The agriturismo is run beautifully by friendly people, and it’s peaceful, with a wonderful pool and lovely surroundings. There’s plenty to see nearby. The lake is about a ten-minute drive for swimming or sailing, and within half an hour you can reach several charming towns or the Bomarzo monster garden.

What a paradise, such a beautiful place! The old farmhouse has been renovated impeccably, and everything is well kept. The apartments are clean, and the pool is clean and huge, with a fireplace and an outdoor barbecue. I gave it 4 stars because there’s no breakfast or half-board. Otherwise, it could have been 5.
