A lovely place to visit.

Beautiful setting.

We spent time in the apartment, out on the balcony and by the lovely pool. The place is wonderful, set in a picturesque spot with beautifully cared-for grounds, and our apartment was clean and thoughtfully furnished. A big THANK YOU to Chiara for looking after both the guests and the property. She welcomed us warmly and was so friendly to talk with. Easily the nicest host we’ve had. We’re coming back for another week next year.

Everything was spotless, honestly as clean as it could possibly be. We loved our apartment, Girasole, from the moment we arrived. It suited the two of us and our little dog perfectly, with a private balcony and breathtaking views. Inside, there was a fully automatic coffee machine, a complete kitchen and lovely, charming decorations. The estate sits quietly among the Tuscan hills, surrounded by nature. It’s near Volterra, and Montecatini Val di Cecina is the closest town. Getting there means taking a 2.4 km gravel road, around a 10-minute drive, but it’s worth making that trip, even more than once a day. There’s a gorgeous pool, lots of greenery, a barbecue area and a romantic swing for two. The garden is exceptionally well kept. Chiara was our lively, friendly contact and sorted everything from the breakfast package to outing suggestions and restaurant bookings. You can also buy little things at the house, like pasta, wine, milk and pastries. Heidi, the pleasant and friendly owner, was always available and happy to answer questions. A wonderful vacation!
