Le Mura

We loved staying at Hotel Mura. After four days cycling over the mountains and wild camping, we arrived in Foligno cold, wet, and tired, and this was just the welcome we needed. The helpful staff found room for our two large bicycles in their big garage. The hotel was lovely, warm, and cosy, and they took care of our laundry. Breakfast staff were so friendly and even filled my tray so we could eat in bed. The location is great, just minutes on foot from the main Pliazza, bars, shops, and more. It’s a friendly family-run hotel right by the old town. Most of the reception team don’t speak English, but they’re very helpful and try their best :). The two downsides for me were the very unreliable Wi-Fi and the limited breakfast selection.

There’s a good restaurant here, and a small underground garage where you can park a car or motorbike. The place is quiet, the rooms are clean, and the staff are helpful. It’s also very close to the center of Foligno, with everything you need nearby.

The location was okay and the room was good. Service fell somewhere in the middle, neither good nor bad. For €55 a night, though, breakfast was very poor. I’d rate the stay 3 out of 5.
