The location made exploring Foligno easy, with the center only a two-minute walk away. San Salvador was clean and roomy, with a comfortable bedroom and large closet, another room with two single beds, a decent living space, and a spotless bathroom. There’s no air conditioning, but the two fans kept things comfortable. We barely used the terrace/balcony because of the heat and its condition, though that was a small drawback. A well-kept apartment and a comfortable base for seeing the city, with great value for money.

The street gets cleaned and the garbage collected at 7:30 a.m. If you’re hoping to sleep in, that’s not ideal. But if you’re getting up early to explore Umbria, you can skip setting an alarm.

You can easily reach this centrally located apartment on foot or by bike. The stairs make it less suitable if you have mobility issues.

The street-cleaning machines woke us at 7:00 a.m., which was the one downside. Otherwise, it was a clean, well-organized, welcoming place right in the center. Recommended.
