Le Scale

I wouldn’t come back. The price was ordinary, but it didn’t match what I ended up eating. My pizza was pale, undercooked, and rubbery, with a taste like an Eminflex mattress. My friend’s was a little better. I probably should’ve taken the display slices in the window as a warning. Service was decent, though we had to ask twice for the small appetizer after ordering two slices. The worst part was finding the string that holds sausages together in my mouth. It hadn’t been removed from the sausage and boiled potato pizza, and rosemary was on it even though I’d asked for none. The place only just opened, but I’ve no reason to return.

Right in the center of Foligno, it’s a lovely spot to stop while walking around. The owners make you feel so welcome, and the food is delicious. We tried the panzerotti, which are a must. While enjoying them, we spotted pasta e fagioli con cotiche (pasta and beans with pork rind) and it looked so tempting I wished we’d ordered that too! 😅😅😅

Beautiful place.
