Mari, the owner, calls us her sister, and she made us feel so welcome with her kindness, good taste, and attention to every guest. Hotel Abbazia in Follina has a peaceful, elegant feel, with history and authenticity in its restored rooms, quiet garden, and the scent of the nearby abbey. The whole stay was wonderful and unforgettable. If you're in Veneto, this is a place to feel as much as a place to sleep. Highly recommended.

The hotel has two places to eat, one of them Michelin-starred, and breakfast each morning was generous. The owner and staff were so friendly and made sure our needs were covered. They even arranged e-bike hire for a day exploring the region. The interior is charmingly eccentric, like stepping back in time. It’s easy to reach and has parking, in Follina in the UNESCO world heritage prosecco region. I’d highly recommend a stay here, whether you’re nearby or making a special trip.

Giovani really went out of his way to make us feel welcome, and everyone on staff was attentive. We came on a Trek biking tour and loved this charming, family-run hotel, run by the family since the 1990s. You can walk to restaurants in town and even a couple of wineries. The restaurant was out of this world, especially the lasagna. I'd highly recommend it.

They even set a table for us in the lovely garden so our dog could join us for breakfast, without us having to ask. That kind of thoughtful hospitality, along with the warm welcome, made Villa Abbazia exceed our expectations. It’s dog-friendly, with lovely rooms, great food, and a beautiful spot in one of the most charming villages on the Prosecco wine route. Both restaurants are outstanding, and La Corte, the Michelin-starred one, is an experience not to miss. We’ll be back!

Everyone at villas Abbazia was incredibly kind, and Giovanni treated us like a friend. It’s a lovely base for day trips. If you’re here to learn about prosecco, I’d stay here.
