The hotel looked nice and was clean, and the pool was really lovely. We saw another apartment that seemed fine, but ours smelled strongly of mould, as though it hadn’t been used in a while. Most of the playground equipment was broken. The beach is farther away and wasn’t very nice, so it’s better to drive somewhere else. I gave the service four stars because the woman waited until midnight for us after we were delayed on the road. This review is about a stay from two years ago.

It’s a charming, well-kept complex in a lovely garden, with a swimming pool. It’s just off the main road and next to a restaurant serving traditional food. The beach is very wide, with public and private areas, and only a few minutes away on foot.

We finally found a place where we can travel with our furry friends without worrying. The garden is lovely and the house has the basics for cooking, though they don't change the linens during your stay. The dog beach is close and you can swim there safely with your pets whenever you like. You do have to cross the Aurelia road, which is a shame. Follonica is lovely too, about 4 km away, with little restaurants and both free and paid beaches. We'll definitely come back. Ligurian and Emilian friends, take it from me!

The pool is really pleasant, and the restaurant is delicious. The people running it are lovely, and the two guys at reception, Daniel and another guy, were kind, helpful, and attentive. We rented bikes there, which made getting to the beach doable, though crossing the Aurelia feels a bit dangerous. The property has real potential, but it could use some improvements. There can be a gas smell in the rooms when other apartments use the boiler. The mosquito nets are often broken, the closets smell strongly of mustiness, and even opening the bedside table drawers is unpleasant. Keep an eye on the irrigation system too, as it can leave the drying rack soaked by morning.
