Casa Esada

Only the fridge and air conditioning were any good. The rest was awful. Our room was on the third floor with no elevator, tiny enough that the bed took up nearly all the space. There was nowhere for bags or clothes, no hooks or towel racks, and you could hear everything from the other rooms, so there was no privacy. The bathroom had no toilet paper or place to put things, just some half-empty family-size soap bottles and no toiletries. The closet was practically unusable. The bed hadn't been made, and nobody came to clean during our five days. The owner was rude, breakfast wasn't included, and the price was far too high for what was provided. Avoid.

Other occupants were noisy, cooking before 7:00 AM and talking loudly as if they were alone, with no regard for anyone else. The room was on the third floor with no elevator. There were no coat hooks or towel racks in the bathroom, and the comforter was stained. On our first day, we got only bath towels because we were told the laundry service would deliver the next day. Avoid!

Casa Esada is close to the center and the sea, as well as the train station, though we couldn't hear the trains. We were welcomed very attentively. The room wasn't big, but it was clean and really nice, with soap, a hairdryer, linens, a TV, and air conditioning. It's on the third floor without an elevator, but that wasn't an issue for us. Highly recommended.

The room is tiny, just about big enough for a double bed. The only spot for a suitcase is at the foot of the bed, where it gets in the way. There's no hook for a bag or jacket, and no towel rail in the bathroom. A real hovel.
