I couldn’t have picked a better place for my birthday. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. The owner and staff made the evening feel extra special in this warm, friendly place. We’ll surely return on our next trip to Follonica. Highly recommend!

The location was very convenient, right across from the beach entrance, and the women at the front desk were friendly and spoke some English. But in two weeks of travelling around Europe, I don’t think I stayed anywhere noisier. Most mornings from 7 to 9 it sounded like construction right outside our door. On other days, people were extremely loud and slammed doors. I couldn’t tell if it was housekeeping or other guests, but it was some of the worst sleep I’ve had in a while. There’s also a restaurant downstairs, so it gets noisy late at night, though that part isn’t the hotel’s fault. The rooms themselves were dated. After walking around town, we realized all the buildings were old, so there may not be anything better nearby.

The location is good, but the hotel is old and the standards now feel really low. It was probably a nice place once. Breakfast was just a sugar bomb, sadly with nothing to get the day started.

The room felt open and bright, with plenty of space between the tables. We had a great dinner, and the wine list was tempting. In summer, you can sit outside among the palms.
