B&B Oro Puro

We had a great stay. The rooms are roomy and have a safe and refrigerator, and parking is behind an electronic gate. There's no kitchen, but they give you tickets for a very nice bar across the street. Everyone there was friendly too, and breakfast was generous. We'd seen some bad reviews and weren't sure whether to book, but what we found wasn't like those other guests had described.

The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff friendly, and there was parking on site. Breakfast was the part I wasn't happy with. The voucher is for a café some distance away, not just down the street, which is inconvenient in rain or intense heat. The choice is only coffee or cappuccino with a croissant. I expected better quality and a more substantial breakfast.

The attic room looked nice and felt cozy, but it didn't work well at all. The ceilings were so low I ended up with a hunchback, and the two beds were both uncomfortable, one too firm and the other too soft. There was no hot water. The gate remote didn't work either, the TV channels kept skipping because of network problems, and the refrigerator was deafening at night. The bathroom sink was clogged and drained very slowly.

Booking wasn't clear, and that was the biggest frustration for us. We also found the service poor and the facilities in our room a bit makeshift. It wasn't an awful stay, but the experience could have been much better with a little more effort.
