Late fall was especially beautiful, with clear skies and those striking seasonal colors. From the restored cowshed, Mont Mars National Park was an easy walk, and Valle di San Grato above Issime was about 15 minutes away by car. The place is small, quiet, private, and has a bit of its own magic, with all the comforts of a five-star boutique hotel. Breakfast brought sweets, local cheese, and cold cuts; dinner, which we booked ahead, had freshly made antipasti and a five-star mushroom risotto. A wonderful stay in one of Val D'Aosta's most iconic valleys.

We spent a week there and enjoyed every minute. The mountain setting is lovely, with plenty of nearby hiking trails, and the renovation has been done beautifully with real attention to detail. We'd gladly recommend MontMars and hope to return soon.

We had dinner at the property, all of it prepared by the owner, and it was delicious and generous. Breakfast the next morning was just as plentiful. She was kind and helpful throughout, and you can really feel the care she puts into making guests feel at home. The room was warm, welcoming, and had every comfort. Everything is tucked into nature, with lovely peace and privacy. It was a truly wonderful stay, and we'll definitely come back.

The little chalet was warm and comfortable, and we felt so looked after. Stefania was friendly, kind, and always ready to help. Her breakfasts were fabulous 😍. We spent a wonderfully relaxing weekend surrounded by nature, quiet, and beautiful scenery. She also suggested places to visit where we could enjoy the valley's and mountains' traditions and beauty. We can't wait to return!
