B&B La Fonte

I was visiting the area for work at the local Air Force Base, which La Fonte is very conveniently located for. I hadn't been here before, but from the moment we arrived, Alessandra and Nicola were among the kindest, friendliest, most accommodating and helpful people I've ever known. Their home and property are beautiful, and the nighttime sounds of irrigation and local wildlife beat any white noise machine. I had a medical emergency during my stay, and they did everything they could to make things easier for me. When I'm back in the area, I'd stay nowhere else. I can't recommend La Fonte strongly enough. Alessandra and Nicola, you were a blessing during a difficult time, and I can't thank you enough.

We spent three weeks at La Fonte, and Allasandra and nicola made us feel so welcome. They were a great help, looked after us when we were sick, and made our stay fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable, with incredible views, and the food was fantastic. If you're visiting northwest italy or avione airbases, it's a must. Update, May 2023: We hope you're safe during this time. We felt at home there, and you're still in our thoughts.

Alessandra and Nicola treat you like family, and they meet every need and then some. They make excellent vino, Prosecco, and grapa, and Niccola kindly let me try them all. I also loved spending time with the dog and cat, and their hen had seven little chicks just in time for Easter. The countryside was so quiet and relaxing. The place has a beautiful classic Italian exterior and very clean, modern rooms. I hope to come back soon. Mahalo and grazie infinita, Roman from Hawaii.

The house sits beside the owners' grape vines and fruit orchards, which provide wine and fresh fruit for breakfast. I got to eat on their patio, with picturesque mountain views, and the whole thing was damn good. It's a great BnB. The brother-and-sister owners are incredibly hospitable and make you feel welcome, like part of the family. If you get the chance to stay here, do it.
