The grounds were beautiful from one end to the other, with flowers everywhere and several comfortable spots outside to sit and take in the mountain views. My wife and I spent three nights here in Fontecchio, and the whole place was a lovely surprise in such a small rural town. Gabriella was genuinely warm and made sure we were comfortable. Breakfast each morning was a generous spread of homemade and baked treats, good enough for a magazine cover. We’ve stayed in B&Bs, AirBnBs, and VRBOs around the world, and this ranks among our favorites. We’d give it six stars if we could, and would come back in a heartbeat.

Gabriella was such a thoughtful host, always willing to help and serving delicious homemade breakfast treats. The room was clean, comfortable, and very pretty, and having a little kitchenette in it was a great bonus. Though it’s just a few steps from town, the B&B feels peaceful, almost like a villa in the country. Highly recommended.

The view at breakfast is incredible, and the meal itself is great too. I’ve traveled all over, and staying at Fule' was MAGNIFICENT. Gabriella is a wonderful host. You should try Fule', you won’t want to leave.

The village is a little gem, and you’re well placed for visiting Bominaco (oratory), Santa Maria ad Cryptas, the Stiffe Caves, Santo Stefano in Sessanio, Rocca Calascio, and Campo Imperatore. We found the apartments comfortable and spotless, set somewhere quiet and green. The owner was very kind and baked us delicious cakes and pies for breakfast. If you want a relaxing holiday in Abruzzo, this place is a real treat.
