We only came for dinner, and it was excellent. The food was great and such good value, as were the wine and food prices. The shared hotel areas were extremely clean. The owners were the nicest, kindest, funniest hotel owners we've ever met. If we return to Foppolo, we'll definitely consider staying here.

The family owners are friendly, the food is great, and the price is really good. The slopes are a short, scenic walk away. We rented with Sci 90 shop and paid for a locker there at a discounted rate for Des Alpes guests, so we didn't have to carry our ski gear back after a day's skiing. The slopes were quiet Monday to Friday, though weekend day trippers made them busier. We'll be back next year.

The service was the best part, with a fantastically sweet couple running the place. The restaurant was amazing too, with tasty mountain food, large portions, and really decent prices. I'm not Italian, so I stuck to one dish the first night, but came back the next evening to try something I'd been too full to order.

Fausta, Gianfranco and the whole team made us feel so welcome, with lovely attention to all the little details. We spent three days in Foppolo, and the four of us kept coming back to eat at Hotel Des Alpes Restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere really laid-back. We’ll definitely return.
