We came to Ischia hoping for a quiet break, but Hotel Zaro kept us awake. The DJ played loudly until 1 a.m. each night. We weren't guests, and even from 200 meters away the music was at full volume. Signore DJ really needs to turn it down for the neighbors. The local ordinance apparently allows this kind of noise to continue past midnight. We got no sleep. Terrible experience, definitely don't recommend.

The location felt amazing and safe, and the pool is beautiful, though I wish it were heated. The hotel itself seemed a little dated for what you get, in my opinion. We temporarily lost our gate key and were told there wasn't another one, which is wild. Apparently each room only gets one, so they said to wait for someone to come or go and follow them in. I'd come back if the price were right.

We had a really relaxing resort-style stay, with a lovely pool, jacuzzi, and gardens. The room was well tiled and very air-conditioned, so I could nap while my girlfriend had a massage. It's close to public and private beaches, plus lots of restaurants. The one drawback was that the wifi only worked well at reception, though we barely noticed. We'd stay again.

The pool was nice and the hotel was calm, but the first room's air conditioning didn't work. It was 29 degrees inside, and they didn't offer another room or solution for the night until we asked. We had no wifi during the stay, and when we requested even a small discount, they refused. For a four-star place, that doesn't feel deserved. Staff mostly spoke Italian, so communicating was hard, and we've had better breakfasts at three-star hotels.

The hotel has nice pools and a great location, and the reception service was amazing. Strong winds cancelled my boat transfer, but the woman at reception helped me find another option and even get reimbursed. Really appreciated her help.
