The terrace has lovely views, and breakfast is generous, with quality food prepared in-house. The rooms are spacious and have all the comforts you need. It's in a unique spot, and cleanliness and courtesy are clearly taken care of. Mrs. Giuseppina makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

I spent several years at this fabulous guesthouse and always felt at home. Everything was lovely, the home cooking was good, and Mrs. Giuseppina is a wonderful person.

Never again at Pensione Di Lustro. The owner was rude and arrogant, and the prices were high. There isn't even a written menu, and the owner showed no respect for vegetarians. My room was awful. The fridge didn't work, and the bathroom was dim because the main neon light was broken and flickering. It was replaced only after I insisted for two days. Towels are changed every two days, too. I'm speechless. The food was questionable: I was served fish packed with bones, including ten as big as sabers. A lot of the dishes were swimming in oil and loaded with garlic. I don't recommend staying here.

What a delightful hotel, set in a wonderful old building. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the ladies who run it are fantastic, professional, kind, and welcoming. Mrs. Giuseppina is especially wonderful.

The owners serve guests with such pleasant courtesy, and the food is fabulous. I'd leave the menu choices to the chef. My room was spacious and clean, and the lobby is stunning. The stay was more than comfortable. This is the oldest hotel in Forio, in a 17th-century building with a charming, bygone feel and decor typical of the 1940s. It's also famous for hosting Truman Capote, who stayed in room number 3.
