Residence Palummera was a lovely, quiet place to stay, and we had a great time there and on Ischia. Our apartment was nice and close to the beach. We brought our toddler, and the large grounds made it easy to play and go for walks.

Gaetano was welcoming and friendly, and kept in touch on WhatsApp to answer all our questions. The room had a full kitchen with pots, pans, a stove, and everything you’d need to cook. There’s AC too, and the hotel is just a five-minute walk from the best beach in Ischia. We can’t recommend a better place to stay on the island!

Our two-room apartment was spacious and nice, with a large shaded terrace where we could have breakfast or a drink later in the day. We had a great view of the mesmerizing lighthouse across the bay. Inside, there was an A/C unit, fridge, stove, TV, towels, soap, and everything else we needed. Some improvements could be made, but we had a very pleasant stay, thanks in large part to Gaetano. He was friendly, helpful, and positive from the start, and really does a great job. The location is peaceful and excellent for getting around: there’s a direct path from the property to Cava d'Isola Beach, which I think is the best sandy beach in Forio. It’s a nice five-minute walk, with no traffic roads to cross. Poseidon Therme is about 15 minutes away on foot, Forio Port around 20 minutes, and there are very good restaurants nearby.

The apartment has great views of the mountains and sea, plus a roomy terrace. Staff were really friendly, and the beach is just a five-minute walk away. Teresa is the best :)
