I’ve never felt so at home or so welcomed and cared for anywhere. I even own a resort in Mexico, so that says a lot. The food, rooms, grounds, and staff were all exceptional. Hotel y Ristorante La Rondinella is amazing in every way. Don’t spend time debating it, just go. Thank me later!

We got back from La Rondinella convinced it was the best vacation we’ve ever had. What we loved most was how the hosts treated us like part of the family. They helped us get a scooter and arranged a boat trip with locals, and were wonderful hosts all around. The garden pool beneath the lemon trees is lovely, and on the terrace we ate delicious local food made fresh by Alida, the wonderful host and chef. Don’t hesitate to ask them for anything. Make sure you catch the terrace parties too, for Neapolitan music and Italian party culture. We loved it!

I ordered fish, but what arrived was tasteless and not up to restaurant quality. I politely sent it back and chose another dish, yet I still had to pay for fish I hadn’t eaten. I’ve never had that happen, even in cheaper restaurants, and I think it was really inappropriate treatment of a customer. They’ve lost me as a customer.

From the beautiful garden to the excellent food, everything was lovely, and the service was the best. This restaurant could set an example for others. We’ll definitely return next time we’re on Ischia. Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤️ Greetings from Czech Republic!
