We were five in the family, visiting from England, and would definitely recommend this little hotel. The pool area is brilliant and the landscaped grounds are lovely. It’s about a three-minute walk up a steep hill road from the main road, where you’ll find the marina and an excellent beach. The bus stop, called Hibiscus, is right by the hotel, with buses going in both directions. The coffee service was very good. One thing we’d suggest improving is breakfast variety. It’d be nice to have cooked options like sausages, bacon, roasted tomatoes or potatoes, or maybe pancakes with syrup, perhaps every other day rather than daily.

Forio’s old town is only a five-minute walk away, which made evening meals and strolls easy. The beach is just steps from Hotel Hibiscus, with wonderfully clean, warm water that suited families well. Having the hotel’s chairs and umbrellas made our daily beach trips simple. We also enjoyed the pools, especially the warm one with jets after being out all day. Everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly. I wish I’d learned all their names, but William stood out for his excellent coffees and kindness. We had everything we needed and would happily return.

It’s an easy walk from this amazing hotel to the beach, shops, and restaurants in Forio. Our room was beautiful and had a wonderful ocean view. The staff were excellent and very kind. We’d recommend staying here.
