Five of us managed to get hot showers, but the sixth person was left with cold water because the hot water ran out. For a flat rented to six people at once, the water heater needs more capacity. None of the girls washed their hair, just showered. The heating was the main problem, as other reviews mention. The rooms are large and the radiators are centrally controlled, coming on after 6:30 PM only if the temperature is below the set level. So when we arrived, the rooms and bathroom were cold. It was rainy and humid, and I can assure you the house wasn’t at 20°C, though it felt even colder. There were three couples, and after we insisted, the owner had us raise the thermostat manually. That could have been done when we got there at 5 PM, instead of after 8 PM.

When we arrived, nobody asked us for the documents that were supposed to be presented to the police station for our stay. Do the check-in rules in Forlì work differently from the rest of Italy? The rooms were cold, and the ceilings were peeling. At first we were told the radiators would come on automatically at 6:30 PM under the condominium rules. At 7:00 PM and again at 8:30 PM, with them still off, we asked what was happening. The owner then let us turn them on manually. Couldn’t that have been done earlier? We asked whether a paid late check-out was possible. It was refused, though we were allowed to stay until 11:00 AM. At 11:15, a woman I assume was the owner arrived and, without even saying good morning, asked, “Wasn’t check-out at 11?” What happened to hospitality? A juuunggla? Never again.

The location is good, in a quiet area. Check-in was well organized, the room and common areas were clean, and the shared amenities included a moka pot, kettle and washing machine.

In a quiet neighborhood, the rooms were tidy and clean, with air conditioning and very comfortable beds. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you’d have at home. I highly recommend this accommodation!
