Agriturismo La Lenticchia

We spent two nights here with the family in early August, and the quiet, charming building and room made for a lovely stay. Breakfast had fresh fruit and lovely cakes. Claudia gave us a short farm tour and explained the partnership with Fillipo. Seeing how hard they both work was inspiring. We also enjoyed the many vegan dinner dishes Gabrielle prepared. We've already been telling friends about this agriturismo.

The train station was easy to reach from here. We found the place very comfortable, with lovely surroundings, fresh and delicious food, and friendly staff. They take care over the little details to make everything feel just right.

Getting around without your own car or bike is a bit awkward, so you'll need a taxi to reach the place and explore. There are a couple of trails and woodland nearby, though. The setting is quiet and rural, but still charming. I liked the attentive service, the bedroom textiles, and the toiletries. For a single guest, the room was very well priced in the height of summer and had its own entrance. There's also a shared kitchen and refrigerator upstairs. The courtyard dinner is a must even if you're not staying there, especially the lasagna and desserts.

We had a wonderful week here with our three children. The large green spaces made it a great place for both kids and adults, and Via Romea runs almost next door. We used it for shaded walks nearly every day. The atmosphere was welcoming, the rooms were simple and lovely, and everyone was kind and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Dinner was available Thursday through Sunday, and every meal was delicious.
