Gardenia Guest House

I stayed at Gardenia for a few weeks and found it a really good choice. The host was super friendly, the place was very clean, and it was furnished in a sensible way. Each floor has a kitchen shared by four rooms, with free coffee and storage space for each room. My room was spacious, which matters for stays longer than two nights, and had a desk and a good reading lamp. I could also use a washing machine and tumble dryer. It’s not far from the train and bus station, fairly close to grocery stores, and within walking distance of the university. My experience at Gardenia was better in every way than I’d expected.

There’s a shared kitchen guests can use, plus laundry machines and a common area. The rooms are spacious, too. The doors could use better soundproofing, but otherwise this is a lovely place to stay.

Quiet and clean, and a really good deal for a BnB. Very nice stay.

The beds are basic, in secure units, but the location makes it easy to walk to Forli’s cafes and bars. The rooms were super clean, and Phillipe was helpful and spoke English.
