Hotel Lory

We were eight people travelling as a family, and the owner rearranged our three rooms so my mother-in-law could stay on the same floor and in the same building as her daughter. She even provided breakfast for all of us, though I had only booked it for one room by mistake. The coffee was excellent, and breakfast set us up well for the drive ahead. Hotel Lory made a lovely stop after our long flight to Venice, before continuing to Rome. The rooms were modern, clean, comfortable, and had the basics you'd expect. Parking was free, easy to understand, and a short walk away. I was surprised by the two-star rating. The park and restaurants are close by. At first the area seemed so quiet that we wondered if we'd left it too late for dinner, but around the corner we found a pretty spot full of restaurants and children playing in the park. We ate at the beer and burger place on the left, which was great for the kids. We'd happily stay here again.
