Maurizio's apartment has a cozy, authentic feel and everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We had an amazing time and recommend it 100%, especially for its location in the historic center of Palermo.

Maurizio made us feel so welcome and gave us excellent suggestions for local trattoria and places to visit. I loved my 10 days in his apartment, which felt like a home away from home. It’s a real home, with a cozy living room and sunny terrace, and the furnishings and equipment are stylish and good quality. There’s so much here that you might not even want to head out. When you do, the sea, the Sunday market in Piazza Marina, Ballaro food market, and Palermo’s many attractions are all within a reasonable walk. The apartment is central, beside a funky part of Palermo, yet quiet and cozy inside. It’s even better than the photos. Sicilian hospitality at its best, simply the best!

Maurizio looks after the apartment like a jewel, with real care for the details and his guests' comfort. He was also generous with useful advice and recommendations. It's a welcoming, beautifully furnished place in central Palermo, just steps from Via Maqueda, 4 Canti, the Ballaro and Vucciria markets, and the marina. Fabulous stay. Public transport is only steps away, and the apartment makes a handy base for exploring the city. It’s in a quiet, picturesque corner of Palermo’s historic center, fully independent, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed. The decor is warm and tasteful. Maurizio, the owner of MAUHOUSE, was courteous, helpful, and discreet. A dream home for a short visit or a longer stay. We’ll definitely return to Palermo.
