Michele gave us great restaurant suggestions and even booked tables for us. We had a wonderful stay, with a comfortable, beautifully furnished room and a location that's ideal for seeing Palermo. The neighborhood is lively, though, and street noise can be a lot if you turn in early. How much you hear depends on the night of the week.

Rooms are quite spacious and very clean, and tea, coffee, and fruit were available all day. Bellarotto is right in the heart of the old town, about 10 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes from the opera, with plenty of genuine Sicilian restaurants around. We had an absolutely fantastic stay. Michele is the best host imaginable. At check-in he welcomed us with a glass of Prosecco, then shared loads of useful tips as a born Palermitano. We could walk to the main sights, shops, and restaurants from Belleroto Suites, and the historic center felt safe even with its lively evenings. The staff were welcoming and gave us useful recommendations. Our room was spotless, roomy, and thoughtfully designed, with an elegant feel that still felt relaxed. There’s no kitchen, though we had a minibar and plenty of nearby places for coffee and breakfast. A comfortable boutique stay right in the middle of Palermo.

The breakfast voucher was for a nearby restaurant, and the food there was delicious. We stayed on a quiet street, close to the old center, and the room was lovely and clean with a charming feel. It also felt private and peaceful. A really great place to stay in Palermo.
