Laura was my angel during the stay, helping and supporting me with travel-related requests. Gabrielle, who owns Antica Pietrara, is friendly to every guest and makes the place feel like home when you’re away. The rooms are nice, clean, and furnished with everything needed; the food and wine are exceptionally good. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with care, and there’s a lovely swimming pool. Everyone working at Antica Pietrara was very friendly. It’s a paradise not far from Rome, and I’m sure I’ll stay here again on my next visits. I strongly recommend it.

The bed was much too firm for me, so be prepared for that. I stayed a week for work, though, and it was lovely to return to such a calm, relaxing spot after long hours. It feels like a hidden paradise. The rooms aren’t modern, but I think that’s part of their charm, as the pictures show. Management staff speak English, though people in the breakfast room don’t, so a few basic Italian words will help. I’d happily stay again.

Give the wines they serve a try. We had a really good stay at antica pietrara, with kind service from the heart. The rooms and garden were clean and well-kept, and the location was good. The swimming pool is an extra bonus in summer.

The food and service were excellent, and the host was great too. What a fantastic spot, it’s the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever seen. Don’t miss it if you’re around!

My kids loved the swimming pool, and it was a nice place to unwind. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good.
