Nonna M can recommend restaurants and arrange lifts if you need them. We could see Rome from our room, a view that was genuinely inspiring. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, and have a truly comfortable bed. The welcome is so personal it feels like visiting your own Nonna. This should be on everyone’s Via Francigena stop list, even though it’s a little off the main route. A1+++

The breakfast spread was huge, and my partner, who is Gluten Intolerant, had plenty to eat. Mirella also arranged a restaurant in town and offered us rides there and back. We declined because we like walking, and it was only 10 minutes into town. She’s such a kind-hearted hostess who really cares about your stay. Much love for this place and Mirella ❤️❤️❤️❤️

From the moment we arrived, the hostess went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She drove us to a restaurant and helped us find a driver to Rome. A fellow pilgrim on the Via Francigena had recommended this B&B as “the best B&B” in Formello, but I’d say it was the best in Italy. She’s the nicest lady you’ll meet. If a room’s available, book it. You won’t be disappointed.
