The apartment’s location was handy, near the sea and the Deco supermarket, so you could manage the whole week without a car if you wanted. It included private parking on the property, which made me feel the car was safe. Towels and sheets were included in the rate, but they weren’t changed, even by the third day. Fortunately, there was a washing machine, which isn’t always a given in a beach apartment, so I washed them myself. The beds made it hard to sleep. They were old, noisy, and dusty, and our double bed was two uneven single bases with an annoying step between them, all covered by an old dusty bedspread. The air conditioning was the biggest issue: fixed at 22 degrees, impossible to adjust, and it shut off by itself several times without coming back on. We went to reception repeatedly, but they couldn’t fix it. This was all on August 15th. We couldn’t open the windows, the mosquito screens were broken, and mosquitoes got everywhere. There were stray kittens on the terrace, with a chance they’d come inside. Cleaning was poor, with dust and cobwebs throughout and grease and dirt on the kitchen and utensils. For the price, I’d look elsewhere.
