Cristallo

I loved the setting. Church bells were ringing when I woke up, and just outside the front door, looking back, there's a beautiful watchtower belonging to an old castle. My room was clean and well kept, with a simple modern look and a really nice shower. I also had a porch, which was lovely to look out from at night. Service was impeccable. Most of the workers speak English, and they were understanding and helpful with all my questions.

The staff were so friendly and helpful that it made up for the room feeling a little old. It was clean and fairly spacious, though the mattress felt a bit hard to me. The bed itself was big enough for two. We couldn't get the windows to close all the way because of some mechanism, so street noise woke us quite early. The hotel is centrally located, and it took us a leisurely 15-minute walk to reach the castle.

The room and price were both good, and parking was easy right in front of the hotel. The staff were helpful, and there was a warm welcome as soon as I came in. The receptionist was courteous, with a pleasant smile and a strikingly fit figure.

A small, budget hotel with no elevator. The service was welcoming and good, and breakfast had nice coffee and juice. The furniture and bed are very old. In some rooms the shower has a curtain, and water ends up all over the bathroom. If you can, ask for a room with a shower stall. Generally a good place for a short stay.
