The lack of help from Booking.com was outrageous. Every day I sent five messages to its managers and got no reply or assistance at all. It's disgusting to see a major platform fail to support its customers. As for the hotel, I prepaid €880 for four nights, €220 per night, and was given a tiny room of just 6 square meters. I could barely move in it. It felt claustrophobic and awful, like a prison cell, and completely unacceptable for a paying guest at that price. When I arrived and saw it, I immediately told the staff I didn't want to stay and asked for a refund. They said, “No refunds. Take it or leave it.” I ended up having to spend all four nights in that miserable space, which felt more like punishment than hospitality. They won't return even a single euro. To me, this went beyond bad service. I consider it a scam, an insult to guests, and possibly a crime. I strongly believe the Italian Ministry of Tourism should fine Hotel Regina in Forte dei Marmi, Italy, €1,000,000 for false advertising, unacceptable conditions, and abuse of trust. If I had time, I'd hire a good lawyer and sue them for the same amount. Avoid Hotel Regina at all costs. They only care about your money, not their guests. They should be ashamed to call this a hotel. Disgusting, deceitful, unforgivable.
