We stayed in a roomy apartment-style room with a kitchen, which was very handy. If we needed something like salt, we just asked at reception. The family managing the hotel did all they could to make us comfortable, and the small hotel had fresh renovations and a charming, homey feel. The garden, fruit trees, pool and jacuzzi made the grounds feel welcoming. Breakfast was great too, with eggs, homegrown vegetables, homemade jam and several kinds of fresh bread. In summer, the lack of mosquito screens was a downside. Being in the forest near a mountain river meant there were quite a lot of insects, though that isn’t a problem in winter. Thanks for the hospitality ♥️

We stopped in for a beer. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and a little dog came to greet us at the entrance. It’s a nice little village too.

The Stube was a nice place to spend the evenings. Rooms were clean and spacious, the staff super friendly, and parking was available. Breakfast was good.

We were there for just one night, but got to enjoy the hotel, restaurant and butcher. Excellent!

They cancelled our reservation, which we’d made three months earlier, just two hours before we were due to arrive.
