Il Borgo della Colomba

Cristina kindly looked after our car and picked us up from the station when we got back. My friend and I had spent the night there before setting off on foot the next morning along the Via Francigena, which passes right by the agriturismo. It’s a lovely peaceful spot, and breakfast was generous, with homemade items and local products. Everyone was extremely friendly. Highly recommended!

We rented the whole village for some time with friends and felt completely at home. It’s a great place to unwind among all the greenery, with delicious food in a rustic but comfortable setting.

The meals were a highlight, especially the hearty dinners made with ingredients, including vegetables, grown there or nearby. You can also have a filling breakfast with produce from the property. The pool makes it even more tempting to spend the day relaxing. This is a peaceful place surrounded by nature, and Cristina’s kindness and willingness to help really add to the stay. The staff were lovely too, always greeting us with a smile.

We spent a wonderful day surrounded by greenery and had excellent food at the agriturismo. It’s an old-fashioned sort of place, but charming and wonderfully quiet. The cooking is homemade and high quality. We started with a generous assortment of appetizers, including their fried acacia specialty, then had delicious ravioli with meat sauce. The pork loin with apples that followed was decent.
