Il Girasole

Breakfast in the garden, with the morning sun, was such a lovely part of our stay. Everything was homemade by the host and delicious. The rooms were very clean and spacious, with views over the property and the area below. Our host was welcoming, kind, and accommodating. The property is beautiful and has a real Tuscan feel. It’s tucked away from the usual routes, but a great choice if you're nearby and want that Tuscan atmosphere. One thing to know: there's no air conditioning, which matters if you need it during summer. The host said only a few weeks at the height of summer can get hot. The windows have good screens, so you can leave them open for a fresh breeze and keep bugs out. A great B&B in Fosdinovo.

The view is incredible, stretching from the Mediterranean to Cinque Terre National Park. It’s also just a short walk along a footpath to Malaspina Castle. Monica was a fantastic host, and her breakfast cake was lovely. A great base for visiting Fosdinovo.

We’ll definitely come back. The place is clean, and breakfast was excellent. The owner was so kind and had plenty of suggestions for places to eat and things to see. Our room had a lovely rustic feel, tucked into the green hills around Fosdinovo. The owner was very kind, and when asked, made us a generous breakfast with lots of variety.
