Il Cavallino

The only drawback was no air conditioning, though there was a fan in the room. Otherwise, I was very comfortable here. The host was kind and welcoming, and helped with a couple of requests, including storing things in the fridge and freezer. The room and bathroom were clean and had the amenities you'd expect. I also liked the little breakfast touches, and having parking right outside the entrance.

We had two connecting rooms, which worked out really well: our son wasn't shut away from us, but we still had our privacy. We were in town for a sports competition and felt at home at this excellent B&B. Everything was impeccably clean. We'd booked one double room and an extra bed for our child. Breakfast was amazing, with so many delicious choices. I highly recommend it.

On our first morning, after a long trip, I was repeatedly accused during breakfast of smoking weed in my room, which obviously wasn't true. Then one day there was nobody there to prepare breakfast. They didn't apologize until I asked about it the next day. For the price of the room, breakfast was disgraceful. Our double room was just two single beds pushed together. The hotel felt judgmental and unfriendly, and it was expensive too. I'd strongly recommend one of the town's other hotels or B&Bs, which are much more affordable and welcoming.

The room was uncomfortable, the bed felt like stone, and the cleanliness needs attention. I spent last week there freezing and had to sleep in my clothes. When I asked why, the owners said they wouldn't leave the heating on overnight to save costs. It was unbearable, and such a poor way to treat guests. The place felt indecent, bad enough to almost warrant a complaint and permanent closure. The cold is awful this time of year, and I'd worry about staying in warmer months too, since there's no air conditioning. Calling this room rental feels wrong, it was more like renting a cold store. DISGRACEFUL and INDECENT. I highly recommend it. Run away instead.
