Camping Biscione

This site was a big disappointment. I know it was early in the season and the weather can change, but the place felt completely abandoned. The central grassy area was a quagmire, with electricity stands lying in water on their sides. The main toilet and shower block needs a full refurbishment: most showers had only one tap, and the few with two had nowhere to put soap or shampoo. Dirty plastic curtains hung off dirty rails. Some toilets wouldn’t flush, and the whole structure was corroding. Dogs roam freely here, and we were horrified when one of the pack attacked our dog, leaving a serious puncture wound that needed substantial, expensive veterinary care. This could be a very good site if the owners invested in it, but as things are, we’d strongly caution against staying.

A great campsite with plenty of facilities and very friendly staff. It’s quiet, just a five-minute walk from the beach, and about a 15-minute drive to Marsala. There’s a nice restaurant on site, and dogs are welcome.

I was camping here rather than eating at the restaurant, and had a great stay. The grounds are clean and in good shape, and the owner was helpful and speaks good English. They have wine, too.

A little village, vineyards all around, and the beach close by. This is the best campsite I've come across so far. Loved it!
