Perla del Levante Hostel

Framura is a quiet, picturesque village, though getting to the hostel from the train station means climbing quite a lot of steps. Our twin room with a private bathroom was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and understanding, and let us store our luggage before check-in. The room could really use air conditioning, especially on a hot summer night. They do provide a fan, but it barely keeps up with the heat.

Such a lovely little town, with clear water at the relaxed rocky beach and breathtaking views. The hostel has a nice atmosphere for meeting people and unwinding, the staff are kind, and breakfast is included. Getting up the hill is easier by bus. The timetable is posted just outside Framura station; it cost 1'50 e from the shops or 2.50 onboard. The owner kindly sent me a timetable photo so I could plan ahead. In summer 2023, the last bus uphill was around 8 pm.

Framura is so tranquil, and the hostel is in a great location for relaxing. Piergiorgio was a wonderful, really nice host. The rooms are standard, and breakfast is decent, nothing special, but the price is hard to beat. There are something like 300 steps up from the train station. With a suitcase, take the road instead. It's a trek, but worth it. The pizza restaurant up the road also has some great deals on good pizza and wine. My favorite hostel so far!

The rooms were very clean, and the couple who run the hostel are so kind. It's a cute place with a patio and a view, plus a fridge and microwave if you want to prepare food. The complimentary breakfast is good and has a nice variety. The stairs are a bit of a pain, but if you'd like a quieter hostel away from the tourist crowds, this is a perfect getaway. Probably my favorite hostel so far!
