Agriturismo Lo Scacciapensieri

Really top-notch.

It's peaceful and clean, with a lovely outdoor area and pool, about 5 km from the sea and all the amenities. The owner and her daughter run the place with real taste and kindness. I recommend it and will definitely come back. One thing I didn't understand, or maybe I hadn't read carefully in the B&B's services: the rooms weren't cleaned every day as I expected. I didn't ask why, so perhaps that's just how it works and cleaning is every four days. Still, everything else was perfect.

We were only here for one night while attending a concert in the village, and it was lovely. Breakfast by the pool under the gazebo was the highlight, rich and delicious, and really relaxing. Our room was roomy and clean, with a new bathroom, towels, and small shower gels, plus a nice balcony facing the sea. The owner was welcoming and helpful.

We've stayed here two years in a row, and hope to return again. The staff are kind and friendly in every way, and the quiet by the pool at breakfast feels unique. There's some noise, like the stereotypical Neapolitan family shouting in the hall and throwing slippers from the balcony, but you can get that anywhere. The homemade food is spectacular, from their nearby shop, "I sapori di Puglia". And if someone claims the croissants are from yesterday, they must have lived in Versailles and always eaten warm Dodo mousse there. Otherwise, there's no way they'd be yesterday's.
